What is the one thing we don’t get to do enough of at the weekly ecstatic dance? SOCIALIZE! We don’t get to just talk, visit, mix it up, network, hang out and have fun… You know, what’s that word…? Oh yes, PARTY! So let’s remedy that! SUNDAY Morning is for DANCING IT OUT… But at least One SATURDAY Night a Month is for Getting INTO IT! Deep into the many layers of our interconnectedness with the forces!

Shannon Gill & Russell Ohlhausen are hosting a once-a-month Zodiacal dance PARTY! A FOUR HOUR GATHERING OF TRIBE & FAMILY! An ‘enhanced’ Ecstatic Dance Experience (kid friendly); followed by two and half hours of all of the DJ dance music that we don’t play in ED (kiddos cover your ears)! Videos & visuals, as well as some singable songs with lyrics, mind-altering sound play.  Join us as we take your mind and body on a ride, pushing YOU to push the limits of your current reality! Come for the ED Wave and stay for the after-party & social experiment. 

Each month the theme will be on the current Sign of the Zodiac…Sol Invictus is the Celebration of the Unconquerable Sun in a new sign. We honor each month and the changing of the Seasons, with dance and reverence to those born under the new sign. But make no mistake…THIS IS A MONTHLY BIRTHDAY PARTY, SO HAVE IT WITH US!!

If you feel inclined, come dressed for dance…bring a costume change to something you don’t normally wear in public (within a modicum of reason & good taste, of course); go tribal, go with some god/goddess wear, slip into some spandex… become your own dance super-hero for the night!  

Are you new to free-flow dance? Do you like to get your groove on when no one is watching? Do you like to SING like a rock star when no one is around? (Who doesn’t?) Well, let’s do both of those things ALL TOGETHER and get down! In a space where nobody really minds… and nobody really cares just how swank or crazy or polished you may look grooving it — nor how cackly or smooth you may sound belting it! 

This dance is a  “New Age—Old School REVIVAL”. It’s crucial for our SURVIVAL!  With video and bass, with lights, interactive…. It might even turn a bit RADIOACTIVE….

Fun sing-along songs — from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s 90’s to today… with mashups and remixes, every step along the way. Music to take you deep, then lighten your spirit; making new memories for the next time you hear it. 

We are going to make you sweat, make you quake, take you on a roller coaster ride; and bring you back down to a gentle landing with a revitalized heart, so you’re feeling all good inside… 

It’s the End of the World as we know it! And I feel FINE!… No one cares what you look like, just let your heart SHINE! Release YOUR ‘Mystery’, and see how it goes; it is a Soul Revolution, I suppose! 

We know the end of these human stories; life’s defeats, its many loves and fleeting glories…. So let’s bring some JOY to the WORLD, it has never been needed more than NOW… No matter who or what you are, or even how; There’s a Sky Full of Stars above, the only way through this is together, with Love! 

Cry out to the Heavens & let the Jerusalem Bells ring! Open your heart, your mind, and your mouth and SING!… “FREEDOM.. is my watchword and G-D IS MY EVERYTHING!!!
